The stave mill site allows Jean-Louis Bossuet to guarantee oak wood origins, to estimate the oak wood lots quality before purchasing, to supervise the splitting of oak trees and the drying of the wood.
This process allows Bossuet Cooperage to work with quality oak, from defined origins, in order to produce high quality barrels and products.
More than just being a cooper, Jean-Louis Bossuet, together with his team, often visits the French National Forests, selects his oak trees deep inside the heart of the forests, and purchases oak wood packages directly at the French National Forests Organisation's auctions.
